Invitation to Grassroots Community Giving Circle Conversations
An opportunity for white folks to support Freedom Project
Hello All,
As a volunteer for Freedom Project, a Black-led prisoner support organization, I'm sending along an invitation to participate in a Grassroots Community Giving Circle for white folks. It begins October 2, 2023 (on-line) and involves eight gently held bi-weekly conversations that combine education (anti-racist education about white supremacy) and action that answers the question "What Can White People do about Racism?" at the personal level.
In my experience, it is transformative to come together with other white bodied people and discuss race and money, white supremacy and reparations, and the power of personal responsibility in the scope of an individual life, whether we have little means or a lot.
