Who we are
We are a group of organizers, writers, researchers, and artists collaborating towards the abolition of policing and incarceration in our community.
Organizing Principles
Mission: Support each other and collaborate towards the abolition of policing and incarceration in our community.
Expectations: Identify and/or respond to the needs of community, especially of those most affected by policing and incarceration. Make your own needs known. Build authentic relationships and trust. Abide by and uphold the accountability principles.
Accountability principles: Be accountable to community, to family, and to yourself. Among other things, this requires transparency, generosity, non-judgment, curiosity, reliability, authenticity, integrity, boundaries, confidentiality, and nonviolence. These principles are meant to limit the power of bad or ill-informed actors.
